SUV Accidents
Monday, August 31st, 2009
Sport Utility Vehicles (SUV’s) have always been questioned about their level of safety. Despite any questions about the safety of these vehicles, they have gained popularity and are now commonplace on our roadways. Safety issues still arise, though they do not often seem important to the manufactures and consumers.
The main concern about the safety of SUV’s is their rollover rate. They have the highest rollover rate of any vehicle on the market. According to the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration), SUV’s are three times more likely to rollover than any other car and there are twice as many deaths from SUV rollover accidents than any other vehicle.
If you have been injured in an SUV accident, you may be entitled to compensation for:
• Medical bills and related expenses
• Physical therapy needed due to the accident
• Lost wages
• Pain and suffering
At the Law Offices of Michael Barszcz, M.D., J.D., we offer highly experienced accident lawyers who know how to evaluate the safety of certain vehicles and the effects they might have on the consumer. We have had much success in representing people who have sustained injury in a variety of auto accidents, including SUV accidents. If you have been injured in an SUV accident, please contact our offices for a complimentary consultation.

Road Construction and Car Accidents
Friday, August 21st, 2009
Many factors enter into the causes of car accidents in and around road construction projects. One of the most common causes of car accidents in and around road construction projects is speeding. Although speed limits are always reduced and clearly posted, many drivers ignore the warning signs and speed through the road construction projects at highway speeds.
Ignoring posted instructions for lane changes and not paying attention to the presence of road construction workers is another reason for road construction car accidents.
Statistics reveal that most car accidents at road construction project sites occur at the beginning of the road construction project area, when drivers are trying to merge, are driving too fast or simply not paying attention to their surroundings.
Car accidents at road construction project sites can be avoided if everyone lowered their speed, obeyed special signs and instructions, watched for road construction workers, and merged
courteously.
If you or someone you love was injured in a car accident in and around a road construction project and you live in Orlando, Florida or the surrounding area, please contact The Law Offices of Michael Barszcz, M.D., J.D. today to schedule a confidential consultation at no cost to you to protect your legal rights and determine if you are entitled to compensation for your injuries.
